Gusto Wine Tours offer full day, guided tours of the Montefalco, Umbria, cantine (wineries) at only €160 per person.

Our speciality is small and ‘non-touristy’ wine tours.
Normally, except sometimes during the harvest, you can expect the personal attention of the wine-makers themselves.
You are usually the only group at the cantina at the time for that exclusive feel!
You will learn about and try truly spectacular Umbrian wines.

Couple this with practically empty roads and beautiful Umbrian countryside and you will truly appreciate that this isn’t a conveyor-belt experience but a real local one.

What does the day include?

With Gusto Wine Tours Original Tour,  you will visit three hidden-gem Umbrian cantine in the course of your day – two in the morning and one in the afternoon.

In the middle of the day will be a relaxing, memorable and authentic Umbrian lunch served in a local, countryside Agriturismo or even at one of the cantine.

You’ll probably meet the winemakers at their cantine along with their families!
You will taste the incredible, unique red wine –  Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita).

With the tastings, you will usually be offered little snacks because they help you appreciate these wines and bring out their full flavours.

Depending on the time of year, you could get to see the grape harvest (Vendemmia).
You could get to see the crushing of the grapes or the surprisingly interesting bottling process at these small cantine.
You might even be able to participate in the Vendemmia at one of the cantine!

We’d be delighted if you joined us at Gusto Wine Tours.
